Why the license class matters
Not every pool license covers a community pool
Florida pool contractor licenses come in different classes. A commercial pool/spa contractor may work on any swimming pool, hot tub or spa, public or private. A residential pool/spa contractor is limited to residential pools (s. 489.105(3)(j) and (k), F.S.). For an HOA, hotel, apartment or public pool, ask for the license number and check its class on the state's DBPR search.
Playwell's Certified Pool/Spa Contractor license, CPC1457140, has been held since 2005. Verify our licenses
